We Are A Nature Nursery!
The Nest Nursery Wood End is a real nature nursery with a magnificent outdoor space for the children to spend many happy days in. But we are also proud to announce that The Nest Nursery Wood End is an extension of your home, it is a place where every child is nurtured to reach their full potential. Everything about our nursery portrays calm and tranquillity. From the neutral tones which ensure children are not overstimulated to the calming space to focus on the task or activity at hand. Children need to feel relaxed and at ease in their environment and not bombarded by over stimulation of bright colours, harsh lighting and plastic resources.
The environments we have at The Nest Nursery are incredibly important to us, children learn through using an array of beautiful natural and authentic resources, which offer a variety of textures to explore and investigate. We use open-ended resources, recycled materials and loose parts within the child’s play to spark imagination and curiosity.
We offer Forest School session to our oldest children and take them off site to our local nature reserve. Our Forest School provision is led by a qualified Level 3 Forest School trained practitioner.
The Nest Nursery Wood End was our second site to open in December 2014. We were graded Outstanding by Ofsted on our first inspection and continue to offer the highest quality childcare.

We offer a Forest School provision off site at our local Nature Reserve, lead by our Forest School level 3 trained Practitioner.
Weekly fun sessions which help our children communicate before speech.
We offer all our of children a variety of music sessions every week.
We offer all of our children a healthy well balanced menu prepared off site by our own chef.
